GET TO KNOW US
The café owned by Mags and Robbie Cairns is bright and friendly serving delicious homemade food, set in the stunning location of Logie Steading.
Head chef John creates daily specials and is no stranger to appearing on the café’s social media channels with insights into how he creates his beautiful meals.
All the produce is sourced locally, with Mags ensuring she supports other local businesses such as the Inverness Coffee Roasting Co and Murdoch Brother Butchers. The longhorn beef, used in many of John’s specials is reared in the fields surrounding the steading.
At certain times of year, the café hosts special events and is gearing up for a special day on Easter Sunday and they have regular live music from local musicians.
The café’s location is a special place for any visitor with endless things to see and do. During the summer months the outside courtyard is a popular place to sit and relax over a morning coffee, or later in the day, to enjoy a tasty lunch from the cafe in the sunshine. The cafe has a wonderful seating area both inside and out.

LET'S TALK COFFEE
The coffee we serve...
The perfect pairing...
For non-coffee drinkers...
We have our own ‘Logie’ blend of coffee made for us by the Inverness Coffee Roasting Co. Not only is it served in the cafe, but people can also buy it to take away from the Logie Farm and Garden Shop also located here.
Wow, any of our homemade cakes and bakes that Chef John makes everyday. We also serve freshly made scones. One of the best pairings would be with one of our luxurious gateaux.
For non-coffee drinkers, tea is our most popular alternative. We serve a range of different teas in an eclectic mix of china teapots and cups. We also do an awesome luxury hot choc.

ADVENTURE TIME
RIVERSIDE PATHS, LOGIE ESTATE
Kindly supported by The Moray Way.
Find trail information, accessibility & maps.
We are a stone’s throw from the Dava Way and we are located right next to the River Findhorn with direct access from the Steading to riverside walks.
We love this place due to the tranquil location. We are surrounded by other beautiful, independent boutiques including two clothing shops, an art gallery, bookshop and a wine and whisky shop. It feels very rural although it’s actually only a 10 minute drive from Forres. It’s a place to relax and take your time. There is something for the whole family.
People can also enjoy a stroll through the grounds of the Steading and the popular Logie House gardens.
We can take cups back and we have bins placed at the entrance and the courtyard for the cups.
ACCESSIBILITY
The whole steading is accessible with ample parking and the café itself can be accessed by prams and wheelchairs. There are two dramatic river walks located on the Logie Estate within the beautiful Findhorn Valley, near the town of Forres. They start at the Logie Steading Visitor Centre, which houses the River Findhorn Heritage Centre, and has Arts and Crafts, Shopping, Walled Gardens, River Walks, an Adventure Playground and Café. The riverside walks are unsuitable for wheelchairs and buggies due to narrow and steep sided in places.
