LET'S TALK COFFEE
The coffee we serve...
The perfect pairing...
For non-coffee drinkers...
We grind, brew and serve coffee from a specialty coffee roastery in London - Square Mile Coffee Roasters. In the cafe, we offer fully caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee drinks, specifically roasted for brewing espresso. Alternative milks are also available – we predominantly use high quality barista oat and coconut.
Any sweet treat that’s on offer, but nothing beats the classic combination of a cinnamon bun (available on Fridays) and a cup of coffee, especially when it is for breakfast.
Our teas are very popular for non-coffee drinkers and we have a wide selection of specialty looseleaf teas, supplied by Shibui Tea, which is based in Edinburgh.

ADVENTURE TIME
VISIT SANQUHAR POND, FORRES
Kindly supported by The Moray Way.
Find trail information, accessibility & maps.
Sanquhar Pond and the surrounding woodlands are about 10-15 minutes walk from the cafe. It is a lovely, short loop that takes you alongside a pond that is filled with a variety of wildlife (fish, ducks, swans and herons). A local community group has spent a lot of time improving the paths and signage around the pond, making it popular and accessible for many people. We offer a compostable cup and lid with every cup of tea or coffee. You can also bring your own cup along to the cafe as well.
ACCESSIBILITY
The loop around Sanquhar Pond is both pram and wheelchair friendly because the tracks have been widened and compacted, although negotiation of some obstacles may be required due to the nature of being close to the woodlands e.g. fallen branches and the bridge at the northern part of the pond would require good control of anything with wheels due to the ramps leading on and off the bridge.
